We believe in community involvement, thus providing our clients with an opportunity to give back to the community through their partnership with Briley Burris and Associates.
We offer clients the option to donate a percentage of the broker’s commission to a non-profit organization of choice.
Upon closing a transaction, you will select an organization to which you want to contribute. The list below includes various organizations that have made our community better and are in need of additional support.

KIPP School
The KIPP School offers a solid education to children that are traditionally marginalized. KIPP Charlotte is a tuition-free institution that offers deserving families free enrollment. KIPP is a college preparatory middle school that has 280 students in grades 5 to 7. Nearly 99 percent of the students are of African-American or Latino/Hispanic origin. Over 70 percent of the students qualify for free and reduced meal program.
Possibility Project
Possibility Project is an organization that gets teens involved in the arts along with community-based social activities. Youth ages 13 to 19 meet on a weekly basis to create a year-round curriculum. The process is a combination of communication, leadership development, performing arts and community service activities. Through these activities participating youth learn to explore cultural and social issues,receive training in the performing arts, create and perform in original productions and develop unique action projects based on community topics and interests.
The Relatives
This co-ed, nine-bed emergency shelter provides assistance to runaway and homeless children. It works with youth aged 7 to 17. The main aim of The Relatives is to provide young people in crisis with safe temporary housing, while simultaneously bringing in stabilizing resources to help them.
National MS Society
Founded in 1955, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter helps over 8,000 individuals in South Carolina and western North Carolina impacted by MS. We are committed to the philosophy of wellness, offering those living with MS the encouragement, materials and skills necessary to achieve and maintain meaningful, productive lifestyles.
Carolina Tarwheels
This local program gives people with disabilities an option to practice and compete in adaptive sports. Its main aim is to get the community acquainted with adaptive sports and provide disabled people a chance to get actively involved.
Second Chance Medical Fund
Adoptable animals that are sick or injured often need serious medical care or humane euthanasia. The goal of the Second Chance Medical Fund is to provide additional money for the care of these animals. The fund receives an average of 60 animals needing assistance each day.
